Through these various information and mailers about the members of the industries are being continuously received and disseminated to various departments of the Institute for interactions.
Through IIPC, faculty members are encouraged to take up Energy Manager, Energy Auditor National certificate examination conducted by BEE. Six faculty members are already Energy auditors.
KEC IIPC is regularly taking part in the annual Industrial Exhibition 'INTEC' conducted by CODISSIA at Coimbatore wherein the student projects are being displayed for the past five years.
The various training programmes by CII are being regularly intimated to departments for sponsoring faculty members for relevant training; Four faculty members were deputed for the Workshop conducted by CII on Energy efficiency conducted in Erode.
Interaction with EEDISSIA has resulted in the awareness to local food industries about the testing facilities which can be used by them at the Institute. EEDSSIA is discussing possibility of setting up food products testing lab on behalf of EEDISSIA at KEC campus.
Our faculty members have contributed as faculty for the monthly technical meetings of Coimbatore Productivity Council (CPC); A MoU is signed between KEC and CPC.
